In 2007, we established IDEA LINK Electrical and Electronic Engineering Training Center as a non-profit organization in order to help the engineering students who have difficulties in study of their colleges and universities. At the same time we provided engineering services for electrical and electronic works as a business enterprise. Later, we had an idea to establish an engineering school which can provide quality TVET (Technical Vocational Education and Training) that meets industrial needs and can award international recognized engineering diploma.

In December 2010, we founded AKI School of Engineering and the founder is U Aye Min Min and co-founders are Dr. Cho Cho Ei, U Saw Myo Min Hlaing and U Aung Ko Latt. Now we are successfully delivering Vocational Skills Courses and Diploma in Engineering Courses as an approved center of City&Guilds Institute (UK). The well-experienced and skillful trainers are training the students with effective training methodology and training aids. The other unique services of AKI are Consultancy for Vocational Skills Development, Design and Development of Competency Based Curriculum, Conducting Occupational Skills Assessment and providing Train-the-trainer program. We are also the founding member of Myanmar Private TVET Association (MPTA) and actively participating in National Vocational Skills Development programs

The main customers of our engineering training are;

• Youths who want to make career through technical vocational education.
• Semi-skill personnel who are working in engineering fields want to be well-trained and get approved certificates.
• Engineering graduated students who want to have hand-on experiences in practical works and specialize in a specific trade to prepare for the job opportunities.
• Engineers and technician who are trying to upgrade and improve their knowledge and skills related to their industries.
• Business companies who want to make cooperate-trainings and skills assessment for HR development.
• Business enterprises who want to make vocational training for beneficiaries as a CSR program and
• Local NGO, INGO and public organizations who need consultation and technical support for vocation skills development projects.

In 2016, our organization was legally registered as AKI MYANMAR Co., Ltd. At present, AKI is providing not only vocational training services but also M&E engineering services for modernized building and supply of materials, tools and equipment for TVET institutes and M&E industry.

For smart living and smart business, we are ready to serve our professional services; design, installation and inspection of M&E systems for modernized building and business environment. Moreover, we can provide services for design and construction of training workshops and labs for TVET training institutions in accordance with rules and regulations.

We import various quality branded products of training aids, tools and equipment for TVET Institutes and Technological Universities. And, the products for M&E (Building Services) systems are also available retails or wholesales. AKI Expert Team can provide consultation services for our customers so that the suitable products can be chosen to meet industrial needs.
