Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carry out B2G sales, B2B sales and B2C sales
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Identify the traits of the ideal customer and seek to find others with the same traits
  • Listen and draw out the concerns/problems of customers to identify possible solutions
  • Sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Build networks and spheres of influence in order to grow prospect lists
  • Negotiate on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
  • Liaise with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
  • Assist management in forthcoming products and discuss on special promotions.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.
  • Record sales and order information
  • Review own performance and aim at exceeding targets.
  • Prepare and report on goals, sales, and prospects by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
  • Provide accurate feedback on future buying trends to employer.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Graduate in Engineering or Technology related studies (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics)
  • Proven 2+ years’ experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
  • Strong Communication skills with strong business related knowledge.
  • Ability and desire for sales job with a confident and determined approach.
  • Highly self-motivated and ambitious in achieving goals.
  • Work both in team and also perform independently.
  • Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
  • Capability to flourish in a competitive environment
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to travel
